The Global Agenda for Sustainable Development

To achieve the goal of a sustainable world, concrete actions must be taken in favor of people and the planet—combating poverty and hunger, ensuring the right to health and well-being, and acting toward conscious consumption and production.

To actively contribute to the implementation of the Global Agenda, an active role is therefore also required of businesses, which can offer a fundamental contribution through their resources and expertise to achieve the common Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Green Oleo aligns with the principles set out in the development guidelines for all 17 goals and, during 2022, identified those most closely aligned with its business operations and improvement targets, selecting specific targets to support for each SDG.

Green Oleo and the sustainability concept

Green Oleo interprets the concept of sustainability as a process of change—environmental, economic, and social—in which resource exploitation, future investments, and technologies are interconnected and aimed at enhancing the Company’s potential, while always maintaining a strong focus on environmental impacts.
